The telephone bell rang sharply as Kate came briskly out of the dinning room. She was wearing her evening dress, a sleeveless black shirt, and a white transparent skirt that displayed her groins and, she was aware of it.
Her expression of joy kindly turned into anger and, like a water Lilly thrust into boiling oil.
“Steve, don’t answer that call, its mine,” she said in a quiet voice that had anger lurking behind it.
“It’s mine Kate,” he said softly winking at her.
Steve had just entered the building. He was tired from work. He was wearing a black suit, coat….
“Steve!” Her voice raised a little as he fingered the receiver. He smiled at her, motioning with his hand for her to be quiet.
“Hello?” He said into the mouthpiece.
“Papaya? This is Castro,” the old man’s voice boomed against Steve’s ear and spilt into the quiet tense parlour.
As soon as Kate heard the voice, she clenched her fists and her mouth set in a hard, ugly line.
“How does the cookie crumble?” the voice sounded again in an alarming manner.
Steve stared at Kate from the side of his eye. Then he turned the telephone out of loudspeaker.
“In one act of random kindness sir…
You can’t be serious” Steve said in horror. He listened for a while, holding the receiver with his left hand, covering the mouthpiece, he stared over his shoulder. His sight was Kate shuffling swiftly back into the dinning room.
He listened for a long time, and then he dropped the receiver gently and turned.
Kate was standing straight in the parlour again; her hands on the head rest of the cushions.
“Dinner’s ready,” she whispered in suspense.
Steve stared into her eyes; he was looking searchingly at her as he shuffles towards her.
“I hope nothing is the matter?” She demanded.
Steve did not say a word. He walked gently, pushed the curtains aside and entered the dinning room. He glared searchingly at the meal served on the table; rice; in a big flat plate, stew; in big round plate, chicken; in a big flat golden plate; that Betsy had given to him on her wedding night. The sticker was still on it and he can read the bold words: John webs Betsy, I was there. Congratulations! Saturday 999. He sighed. The wine, cup and fork. Kate breezed swiftly across him and drew a chair. She stared at him.
“Why standing?” she demanded, digging her thumb into her mouth. She stood up gently and went to the other side of the table; she drew out a chair for Steve.
“You may sit” she beamed.
“Thank you”
Steve forced himself onto the chair like a cat stepped on hot bricks.
“So, what was the caller saying?”
“Greetings”
Kate was standing behind him. He was trying to see her activities. He glimpsed her motion through the mirror-like plate. She moved a hand to her head and he stared over his shoulder instantly. His sight caught her eye. She moved, closer to the table.
“How was work darling?” she demanded, picking a table knife and, cleared her throat.
A wave of fear swept over him.
“Hmm” he murmured in horror, goggling at her.
She gave him a glare and walked into the kitchen. He drew in a long breath instantly; he picked a knife and dug it into his coat pocket and sighed. She emerged, chewing something. The knife was still in her right hand as if she was going to cut the jug of water she had in her left hand.
“You’ve not told me how’s work” she said, dropping the jug on the table.
“I said fine”
“You did?”
“Sure” he chuckled.
She sat down gently, drew the chicken closer to herself and picked one, put it on a tray and stood up. She belched; carrying the tray with her left hand, she walked over to Steve. The knife was tight in her hand. Steve was exaggerating as she neared him. He was thinking that she would run the blade across and into his neck.
Of course, he knew he was staying with a deadly snake. No man goes into a market and buys for himself a rattle snake, not him, him… Steve knew she was; and he was into it! But she was the only one who could make dreams come true.
A lady wearing her heart to the back, one of the best hackers ever... Steve had thought that if she ever completes all the blood missions, he could take care of her. A bullet through the head would do it. He knew that if he approaches her with a knife, she could outrun him, and run a blade through his neck. It will all end with ‘sorry honey’ what an injustice to it! He do wonder if her father that died years ago had taught her how to kill, kill a man, that’s just it to it. He was a murderer, wasn’t he? A man from the caliber of the unknown... Evil walks of life. All his life stories were untold. A fat glitzy man, as black as coal and got the eyes of an eagle…
Just then, she gently dropped the tray in front of Steve, used her left hand to hold the chicken; then she cut a piece, used the knife to pick it and dug it into her mouth. She dropped the knife on the table.
“Care to help yourself?” She murmured, placing her hand on his shoulder. She went back to her seat and examined the feelings on Steve’s face. Her heart started thumping as she stared into his eyes.
Steve took a spoon with his right hand immediately and a glass of water with his left hand gently; he clangs the spoon on the glass and drank softly. Kate started eating rice and he joined her. She was staring into his eyes. He waited for her to swallow before he did.
Kate stood up and picked a knife, she went to the other side of the table and was about to cut bread. Steve moved swiftly to her back, placing a hand on her shoulder, he gently placed his right hand on hers “let me help you” he said, collecting the knife from her gently. Kate moved aside as Steve cut the bread. She picked a bigger knife instantly. Both of them exchanged glances. She forced a smile as she tried drawing the chicken closer to cut…
Steve, still holding the knife, moved backwards and picked an Eva wine bottle. He stared into her eyes. He gently dropped the knife and opened the wine.
Kate, with her knife went and sat on a chair next to his. He poured wine into a cup. Trying to pick the cup with his left hand, (Kate was staring at the chicken) the bottle went off his hand. Instinctively, Kate caught the bottle with her left hand before it gets to the floor. The miracle was that her sight was away. A wave of horror crossed her face.
She took a quick glace at his face and kindly released the bottle. It went swiftly and crashed on the rug. The both of them started.
“I will get a rag” Kate rapped, picked her purse and ran into her room.
She is going to do it, Steve said to himself. Lurking behind the curtains, squirming with an uneasy glare, he jump into the parlour, made his way into the toilet and picked his revolver. He popped his head out and, felt a shadow moved through the exit and banged the door.
“Kate! Get back here!” he yelled. Instinctively, he leaped across a cushion. He felt his stomach slopped, then he run out to the balcony. Then he runs out to the balcony. He cocked the hammer and pulled a face; run his gaze through the brightly lit environment.
The engine started and Kate pulled away, revving the engine.
“Son of a bitch!” he snarled. He placed his big hands on the rail, his brain working maliciously.
Steve was running his gaze through the estate; he wanted to make sure none of his neighbors has seen his Kate drive away nervously, seen a gun in his hand or noticed there was misunderstanding.
His boss had warned; anytime you wish to do dirty jobs, let it be good secret. Don’t let your eyes see what the hands do.
Now, his sight was the dog behind a tank of water cocking. He panicked.
“Did you see my wife… dog?” he said to himself. Immediately, he lengthened his hands to push himself into the parlour. He picked his keys, turned the TV off and jumped to the exit. He pelted down the stairs, left the door open and…
There was a store hall beside his apartment block. He remembered he had a power bike. Immediately, he dashed towardas the hall secretl. He pulled the gate upwards. The cracking sounds made him start. He went into the dimly lit store. He switched on the light, rays flashed and he blinked. He vdrew rthe bike out and started the engine. He reved it and pulled away. The engine was exhausting smoke in large quantity. Far, had the bike been used-No matter how the cookies wish to crumble, it must be in one act of random kindness ans Steve was ready to run a bullet through her head!

INTRODUCTION
Successful marriage comes to every lady as a result of coming in contact with a man that is already prepared to go into marriage relationship. Not the one that is not yet ready to take the bull by the horn. Who is still junketing from one city to the other like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour in the name of :I will marry you”. WAYS LADIES SHOULD KNOW WHEN A MAN IS TRULY READY FOR MARRIAGE
1. Preparation
Jesus said, “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sited not down first, and counted the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it”. (Luke 14:13). Preparation is among the first steps a man takes when he is getting ready for marriage. Any man who fails to prepare will fail to achieve, to reach a goal in life.
Marriage is expensive business; it’s a life business. It is the oldest institution founded by God on earth. It is not for children, not for gamblers and playboys. It is for men, prepared men who are ready to take the bull by the horn.
How prepared a man is to start off his marriage ceremony will determine how fast he can finish it and bring in his spouse. Waiting so long to finish marriage ceremonies is not good at all. It may lead to fornication and discouragement.
2. Seriousness
A man may gamble and play ladies around for years, but when he gets set for marriage he shows seriousness and meaningfulness. He stops playing around and answer the call to become a full-fledged man.
To know if a man is truly ready for marriage, check his seriousness over the matter. Is he still a playboy? A Mama or

Dady boy? A traveler who is not yet ready to settle down to build a home? If those are the case, he is not yet ready for marriage.
3. SINCERRITY OF PUROSE
Another word for sincerity is genuine; not pretended; straightforward. It is the quality of being honest to someone being loved.
To check if a man is truly ready for marriage, measure his sincerity of purpose. Does he mean business? Does he really want to do it? Or is he pretending in order to rub you your virginity?
Many men have used this gimmick of “I will to marry you” and defiled many innocent ladies in our society today. It’s time our dear ladies should checkmate them by measuring their sincerity of purpose towards the issue. Ladies should know that not all that glitters are gold! They should beware of men who are not sincere and purposeful in life. They are like green snakes in green grass. Discover act of non-sincere man
4. NOT PROCRASTINATING.
In the words of Edwin Louis Cole, “Procrastination steals time, kills initiative and destroys production”. Benjamin Frankline said, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today”. And Martin Luther King Jnr. Said, “The time is always right to do what is right”.

To know if a man is truly ready for marriage he must start to do what is right to do at the right time. If he procrastinates over what he ought to do now, he may never do it again. Wasting time wastes someone’s life. By the street of by and by, one arrives at the house of never. It is either now or never!
5. RESPONSIBLE
How responsible a man is determines his readiness for achievements. A man who goes about drinking, smoking, chasing women, and doing all kinds of illicit and immoral things is not responsible at all. It may take such a man long time to settle down and build a God fearing home.
I have seen some men who put ladies in family way and denies responsibility. I have seen others who date and invite three or four ladies at the same time in their house, and these ladies fights and injure themselves in order to retain their man and their dream home. This is irresponsibility indeed.
Ladies should use their tongue to count their teeth. Responsibility is being accountable, trustworthy, being relied upon someone who will be legally or morally be liable for your life in case of any eventuality.
May the lord give you the right man in Jesus name, Amen
6. LOVING
Love is the foundation of marriage. It is also the foundation of the world. The Bible says, “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
So many people think God founded this word in wickedness, that’s the reason why there’s wickedness on earth today. No! God founded this world in love and happiness. He founded marriage and our lives in love. It is the devil and his fallen angels that brought wickedness into this world, into our lives and homes.
When we get born-again, we receive the love of God into our lives. Then in whatever we do, we express this love that we have received from God. This is what happens when a man finds the lady he should marry. Hw begins to express this love to her in so many ways according to Bible injunction.
He shows this lady that he loves her by going to alter with her. He buys and showers her with gifts. He takes her out, live patiently and peacefully with her, listening to her, shout not on her, etc.
Love is of the spirit but there must be physical evidence to express it.

7. MATURITY
Maturity is a state of the mind. It is a level of growth a man can display. It is not based on age. A man of twenty years can be more mature in mind and handling of mater than a man of fourty years. Sometimes it goes with level of education and exposition. The more you are exposed and educated, the more you are maturing.
Women are weaker vessels. They display weakness in so many things, no matter their age. They need a man to guide, teach, protect and advice them always. This is the reason every lady should marry a mature man. Don’t marry a baby boy or else both of you will live ignorance in many things. Look for maturity in that man to determine if he is truly ready for marriage.
8. FULL OF FAITH AND SPIRIT
The bible says, “But without faith it is impossibility to please him for he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrew 11:6).
Without faith nobody can please God and without faith no man can please and live with a woman. Women lead by sight, by what they can see and behold with their natural eyes. It takes a man full of faith and spirit to live with them and carry them along.
No woman what to marry a baby in the lord. They are all looking for a man of God, a man full of faith and spirit of God. This is how God created them. They have to depending on their husband for every thing. They are created just a help-mate.
9. HARDWORKING
There is no food for a lazy man! If a lazy man marries a wife, hunger will kill both of them. This is the reason why no lady should to marry a lazy man. They should marry a hardworking man. A man that can be able to take care of them. No matter what God may use them to add to the family.
The Bible says, “But if any (man) provides not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied he faith, and is worse than an infidel (I Timothy 5: 8)”
A man that stays in the house by 10.00am with a towel tied round his waste must be a lazy man. A man that goes to bed early and wakes up late in the morning must be a lazy man. A man that goes about playing games, trying to see how he can win jackpot must be also be a lazy type beware of them or else hunger will visit you in a marriage.
10. BUSINESS INCLINED
Jesus said, know ye no that I must be about my father’s business?” (Luke 2: 49). When Jesus was here on earth he was doing his father’s business. He wasn’t lazy but was committed to the call. Apostle Peter while describing the nature of Jesus business wrote.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost and with power. Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him” (act 10: 38).
Every man suppose to be a business inclined, business oriented. He must be about a business, I either a family business, personal one or he is employed. And the nature of such a business must the type that gives God Glory. It shouldn’t be fraud and destructive business.
Ladies must find out the nature of business their would be husband are doing. Is it the business that will give them peace in the house or the one that will put home under police surveillance?
Ladies must be sure also no go into marriage relationship with any man that doesn’t have a meaningful business. A man that his business can be able to feed one mouth, talk of feeding two or three mouths, unless they are ready to pay prize of headership till things improve.
11. DEDICATION
The amount of his dedication to God and his local church will determine his purity and Godliness a dedicated man will keep his marriage vow and promises he has fear of God in his life. He will never treat her lady wickedly. He treats her tenderly and with all respect and honor.
Every lady needs spiritual security in her marriage. Any one of them that make mistake and marriage satanic agent will regret it. They should make sure the man they are out for is a dedicated child of God. He must be a born again and dedicated to local church. He must be active to church program. He must also be given to support the work of God, the work of evangelism and charity.
12. HOSPITALITY
Hospitality means friendly, generous reception and entailment of guests.
The man must be hospitable because after your welding, your relation and his will be visiting your home. Your friends and his will be visiting your home. They will be coming with one need or the other. And he must support them according to his strength of income. He must not be stingy and close to his door to them. He must be hospitable and healthful, and attend they needs. If he is a type that so stingy and doesn’t help his people, after his welding, his people will accuse the wife for being the cause of his stinginess and un-hostility.
13. PRAYERFUL
How prayerful he is brings to him close to God. When he close to God, he will be after from the devil and his evil work and hindrance and destruction a man that is getting ready to marriage must be prayerful in other to receive bless and favor from God. Martin Luther, “the less I pray the had it get, the more I pray the better it goes ”.
Prayer is the incense of our heart that rises to God. Prayer is the perfume of our body that sweetest the heaven it is through prayer that stream flow to our dry palaces and our every sight blossom as a rose. Prayer is the heavenly telephone that brings the distance near. It is wireless of telegraph that sends its heartthrobs on the either waves of heaven. It finds the heart of God and drops every burden and sorrow into his ear. It ascends like a vapour and supplies showers of blessing to our every need.
For any man to have breakthrough in marriage and other things of life, he must be prayerful. Must learn how to spend time in the presence of God.
14 ASSOCIATIONS HE KEEPS
The association he keeps will make or mar him. If he associates with criminals and fraudsters, he is one of them or will soon become one. If he associates with womanizers and those groups of men who make mockery of womanhood, he is a womanizer and a mocker. Whatever association he keeps is what he has become.
“Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are”, someone said.
Change is inevitable. A living thing is distinguished from a dead by the multiplicity of the changes at any moment taking place in it. He cannot become what his is destined to be by remaining what he is. He must change if he is truly ready for marriage so that he will be able to build a God fearing home.
15. UNDERSTANDING
It takes understanding to go into marriage and succeed. It is not easy for two different people from different background, culture and upbringing to come together as husband and wife. It requires a lot of understanding to handle their differences in order to build a happy home.
The man must be intelligent and wise enough to handle his wife, his in-laws and his own relations in his marriage affairs or else they will scatter his new home. He must accept, tolerate and consider their suggestions, weakness and view; but in all he has the final say.
He must be a man that is ready to give his woman time to grow and develop to his own taste. He must be the type that will accept the lady as she is and help her to overcome her shortcomings, limitations, fears and weaknesses. He must not be the type that will shout and bully her. After all, Rome was not build in a day!
16. PEACEFUL
He should be a peacemaker, and not a quarrelsome type. Peace is a quality of maturity and godliness. The Bible says, “Blessed are the peace makers: for they shall be called the children of God (Matt. 5:9)
He should be a child of God and a follower of peace with all men. He mustn’t be a type that will not give peace a chance.
He should not be the type that will take family matters outside for settlement. He should not bring third party into his house to settle misunderstanding between him and the wife. But should be able to settle them amicably by themselves.
17. SOCIAL
He should be social and friendly. He shouldn’t be the type that will drive away your good friends. By the time you get married to him, your good friends will still be admiring your company and will be paying you visit. He should be the type that will allow them access to your matrimonial home for good.
There are some men that do not allow their spouse to greet men on the road. They are too suspicious. They think any man you exchange pleasantry with is your boyfriend. Try to explain to him that you are not living in Island or in isolated world.
18. KEEP DATING RULES
Dating is not marriage. When a man begins to date you, it doesn’t mean he has married you and is now your husband. No! You are trying to learn, develop and prove if you will become husband and wife soon. It is time for fellowship and character training and development.
During this time you have to be very careful with the man. You have to avoid petting and romance. You have to hold and bring your body under subjection no matter what your body chemistry is telling you to do.
Don’t allow him to mess up your pride of marriage, your pride of womanhood. Keep yourself pure till your wedding night. He may want to tempt you by asking you to prove your love by going to bed with him. And if you agree, he will relegate you as one of those ladies that sleep around with men.
He should be the type that will keep the dating rules. He should love you with the fear of the Lord. Don’t break your virginity with him outside wedlock (Whether you have natural or secondary virginity, keep it till your wedding night). That will become your pride and honour in his home.
19 HOME SUPPORTS AND HOUSING
He must come from a home and have a house where he is living (built or rented apartment). He should enjoy home support from the parents and relations. They have to support his plans and move to get married. They should give him all-round support in order to encourage him achieves his obligation.
By the time he takes his lady to the village or town to introduce her to his parents and relations, they should receive her in love. If they fail to accept her, the lady should know that she is going to face problem but if they receive her, she will enjoy a sweet and successful marriage because of the home support.
20. TOLERANCE
Tolerance is the quality of tolerating opinions, beliefs, customs, behaviour different from one’s own.
He must be a man that can tolerate you at all time. Most ladies have bad attitude and are untidy. These may not manifest so much or be seen when they are still single, but as soon as they get married and start having children, they will begin to showcase their wrong and weak side. It will then take a man of tolerance and endurance to live with them and carry them along for change.
Not willing to tolerate and change has lead to many cases of divorce recorded in our society today. This calls for enduring and bearing one another in love. The Bible says, “Love beareth all things, ---endureth all thing” (1Cor. 18:7)
21. RESPECTFUL
He must be a man that has value and respect for women. He shouldn’t be the type that abuse and disrespect them. He shouldn’t be the type that joins others to castigate ladies.
There are some men that don’t see anything good in a woman. All they see is devils and demons in them. This is not good at all. God wonderfully and beautifully creates women “Beside every successful man there must be a woman”. No man is complete without a woman.
22. CARING
Caring goes with humility. A humble man cares a lot while a proud man does not care at all. He doesn’t want to know how you feel. He head and eyes are on high always, and he may hurt you any moment of the day.
Marriage requires a lot of caring. When a woman is undergoing her menstrual period, she may not be strong enough to do something’s in the house. She needs a caring husband to assist her during that period. When she is pregnant, she needs great care and assistance from her husband. When she put to bed, she needs a caring husband by her side. When she is sick or weak, she also needs someone beloved around her.
If she is a working class lady, she needs her man to care and support her in the house. He should not wait for her to return from work before some certain things will be done in the house. He many prepare their meal if they don’t have a house-helper. There is nothing wrong about that. He can also wash their clothes, sweep and wash dishes once in a while. That doesn’t make him a woman wrapper. It should be done out of love and willingness to build a God-fearing home. He should accept responsibility in the absence of the woman, and show good example of loving service.
HOW TO OVERCOME SEXUAL TEMPTATIONS FROM MEN DURING DATING & COURTSHIP.
What is dating and courtship? It is a westernized cultural activity. It is not mentioned once in the Bible, and is meant to be a time of fellowship, character development, and social development. Through dating and courtship their are something in your life that can be developed with the person of opposite sex. To have a dating and courtship void of sexual sins and immorality you must:
1. Avoid those times alone in a room or on the beach. You may prefer a double dating where other people will be present.
2. Avoid being alone in a parked car in the full moon taking breeze.
3. Don’t go to hotels where they have lodging. You may prefer
Restaurants for lunch.
4. Avoid keeping lat nigh.
5. Don’t dress or undress in his presence.
6. Don’t expose your body for him to behold. If you show it all
to him now, there will be nothing left that will attract him
to you.
7. Avoid petting and romance.
8. Don’t lie down on his body.
9. Put God and His word first in your life and relationship
(Matt. 6: 33)
10. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling (Phil.2:2)
11. Pray and watch always to avoid the traps of the devil.

A man may gamble and play ladies around for years, but when he gets set for marriage he shows seriousness and meaningfulness. He stops playing around and answer the call to become a full-fledged man.
To know if a man is truly ready for marriage, check his seriousness over the matter. Is he still a playboy? A Mama or

3. SINCERRITY OF PUROSE
Another word for sincerity is genuine; not pretended; straightforward. It is the quality of being honest to someone being loved.
To check if a man is truly ready for marriage, measure his sincerity of purpose. Does he mean business? Does he really want to do it? Or is he pretending in order to rub you your virginity?
Many men have used this gimmick of “I will to marry you” and defiled many innocent ladies in our society today. It’s time our dear ladies should checkmate them by measuring their sincerity of purpose towards the issue. Ladies should know that not all that glitters are gold! 4. NOT PROCRASTINATING.
In the words of Edwin Louis Cole, “Procrastination steals time, kills initiative and destroys production”. Benjamin Frankline said, “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today”. And Martin Luther King Jnr. Said, “The time is always right to do what is right”.

To know if a man is truly ready for marriage he must start to do what is right to do at the right time. If he procrastinates over what he ought to do now, he may never do it again. Wasting time wastes someone’s life. By the street of by and by, one arrives at the house of never. It is either now or never!
5. RESPONSIBLE
How responsible a man is determines his readiness for achievements. A man who goes about drinking, smoking, chasing women, and doing all kinds of illicit and immoral things is not responsible at all. It may take such a man long time to settle down and build a God fearing home.
I have seen some men who put ladies in family way and denies responsibility. I have seen others who date and invite three or four ladies at the same time in their house, and these ladies fights and injure themselves in order to retain their man and their dream home. This is irresponsibility indeed.
Ladies should use their tongue to count their teeth. Responsibility is being accountable, trustworthy, being relied upon someone who will be legally or morally be liable for your life in case of any eventuality.
May the lord give you the right man in Jesus name, Amen
6. LOVING
Love is the foundation of marriage. It is also the foundation of the world. The Bible says, “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
So many people think God founded this word in wickedness, that’s the reason why there’s wickedness on earth today. No! God founded this world in love and happiness. He founded marriage and our lives in love. It is the devil and his fallen angels that brought wickedness into this world, into our lives and homes.
When we get born-again, we receive the love of God into our lives. Then in whatever we do, we express this love that we have received from God. This is what happens when a man finds the lady he should marry. Hw begins to express this love to her in so many ways according to Bible injunction.
He shows this lady that he loves her by going to alter with her. He buys and showers her with gifts. He takes her out, live patiently and peacefully with her, listening to her, shout not on her, etc.
Love is of the spirit but there must be physical evidence to express it.

7. MATURITY
Maturity is a state of the mind. It is a level of growth a man can display. It is not based on age. A man of twenty years can be more mature in mind and handling of mater than a man of fourty years. Sometimes it goes with level of education and exposition. The more you are exposed and educated, the more you are maturing.
Women are weaker vessels. They display weakness in so many things, no matter their age. They need a man to guide, teach, protect and advice them always. This is the reason every lady should marry a mature man. Don’t marry a baby boy or else both of you will live ignorance in many things. Look for maturity in that man to determine if he is truly ready for marriage.
8. FULL OF FAITH AND SPIRIT
The bible says, “But without faith it is impossibility to please him for he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrew 11:6).
Without faith nobody can please God and without faith no man can please and live with a woman. Women lead by sight, by what they can see and behold with their natural eyes. It takes a man full of faith and spirit to live with them and carry them along.
No woman what to marry a baby in the lord. They are all looking for a man of God, a man full of faith and spirit of God. This is how God created them. They have to depending on their husband for every thing. They are created just a help-mate.
9. HARDWORKING
There is no food for a lazy man! If a lazy man marries a wife, hunger will kill both of them. This is the reason why no lady should to marry a lazy man. They should marry a hardworking man. A man that can be able to take care of them. No matter what God may use them to add to the family.
The Bible says, “But if any (man) provides not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied he faith, and is worse than an infidel (I Timothy 5: 8)”
A man that stays in the house by 10.00am with a towel tied round his waste must be a lazy man. A man that goes to bed early and wakes up late in the morning must be a lazy man. A man that goes about playing games, trying to see how he can win jackpot must be also be a lazy type beware of them or else hunger will visit you in a marriage.
10. BUSINESS INCLINED
Jesus said, know ye no that I must be about my father’s business?” (Luke 2: 49). When Jesus was here on earth he was doing his father’s business. He wasn’t lazy but was committed to the call. Apostle Peter while describing the nature of Jesus business wrote.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the holy Ghost and with power. Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him” (act 10: 38).
Every man suppose to be a business inclined, business oriented. He must be about a business, I either a family business, personal one or he is employed. And the nature of such a business must the type that gives God Glory. It shouldn’t be fraud and destructive business.
Ladies must find out the nature of business their would be husband are doing. Is it the business that will give them peace in the house or the one that will put home under police surveillance?
Ladies must be sure also no go into marriage relationship with any man that doesn’t have a meaningful business. A man that his business can be able to feed one mouth, talk of feeding two or three mouths, unless they are ready to pay prize of headership till things improve.
11. DEDICATION
The amount of his dedication to God and his local church will determine his purity and Godliness a dedicated man will keep his marriage vow and promises he has fear of God in his life. He will never treat her lady wickedly. He treats her tenderly and with all respect and honor.
Every lady needs spiritual security in her marriage. Any one of them that make mistake and marriage satanic agent will regret it. They should make sure the man they are out for is a dedicated child of God. He must be a born again and dedicated to local church. He must be active to church program. He must also be given to support the work of God, the work of evangelism and charity.
12. HOSPITALITY
Hospitality means friendly, generous reception and entailment of guests.
The man must be hospitable because after your welding, your relation and his will be visiting your home. Your friends and his will be visiting your home. They will be coming with one need or the other. And he must support them according to his strength of income. He must not be stingy and close to his door to them. He must be hospitable and healthful, and attend they needs. If he is a type that so stingy and doesn’t help his people, after his welding, his people will accuse the wife for being the cause of his stinginess and un-hostility.
13. PRAYERFUL
How prayerful he is brings to him close to God. When he close to God, he will be after from the devil and his evil work and hindrance and destruction a man that is getting ready to marriage must be prayerful in other to receive bless and favor from God. Martin Luther, “the less I pray the had it get, the more I pray the better it goes ”.
Prayer is the incense of our heart that rises to God. Prayer is the perfume of our body that sweetest the heaven it is through prayer that stream flow to our dry palaces and our every sight blossom as a rose. Prayer is the heavenly telephone that brings the distance near. It is wireless of telegraph that sends its heartthrobs on the either waves of heaven. It finds the heart of God and drops every burden and sorrow into his ear. It ascends like a vapour and supplies showers of blessing to our every need.
For any man to have breakthrough in marriage and other things of life, he must be prayerful. Must learn how to spend time in the presence of God.
14 ASSOCIATIONS HE KEEPS
The association he keeps will make or mar him. If he associates with criminals and fraudsters, he is one of them or will soon become one. If he associates with womanizers and those groups of men who make mockery of womanhood, he is a womanizer and a mocker. Whatever association he keeps is what he has become.
“Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are”, someone said.
Change is inevitable. A living thing is distinguished from a dead by the multiplicity of the changes at any moment taking place in it. He cannot become what his is destined to be by remaining what he is. He must change if he is truly ready for marriage so that he will be able to build a God fearing home.
15. UNDERSTANDING
It takes understanding to go into marriage and succeed. It is not easy for two different people from different background, culture and upbringing to come together as husband and wife. It requires a lot of understanding to handle their differences in order to build a happy home.
The man must be intelligent and wise enough to handle his wife, his in-laws and his own relations in his marriage affairs or else they will scatter his new home. He must accept, tolerate and consider their suggestions, weakness and view; but in all he has the final say.
He must be a man that is ready to give his woman time to grow and develop to his own taste. He must be the type that will accept the lady as she is and help her to overcome her shortcomings, limitations, fears and weaknesses. He must not be the type that will shout and bully her. After all, Rome was not build in a day!
16. PEACEFUL
He should be a peacemaker, and not a quarrelsome type. Peace is a quality of maturity and godliness. The Bible says, “Blessed are the peace makers: for they shall be called the children of God (Matt. 5:9)
He should be a child of God and a follower of peace with all men. He mustn’t be a type that will not give peace a chance.
He should not be the type that will take family matters outside for settlement. He should not bring third party into his house to settle misunderstanding between him and the wife. But should be able to settle them amicably by themselves.
17. SOCIAL
He should be social and friendly. He shouldn’t be the type that will drive away your good friends. By the time you get married to him, your good friends will still be admiring your company and will be paying you visit. He should be the type that will allow them access to your matrimonial home for good.
There are some men that do not allow their spouse to greet men on the road. They are too suspicious. They think any man you exchange pleasantry with is your boyfriend. Try to explain to him that you are not living in Island or in isolated world.
18. KEEP DATING RULES
Dating is not marriage. When a man begins to date you, it doesn’t mean he has married you and is now your husband. No! You are trying to learn, develop and prove if you will become husband and wife soon. It is time for fellowship and character training and development.
During this time you have to be very careful with the man. You have to avoid petting and romance. You have to hold and bring your body under subjection no matter what your body chemistry is telling you to do.
Don’t allow him to mess up your pride of marriage, your pride of womanhood. Keep yourself pure till your wedding night. He may want to tempt you by asking you to prove your love by going to bed with him. And if you agree, he will relegate you as one of those ladies that sleep around with men.
He should be the type that will keep the dating rules. He should love you with the fear of the Lord. Don’t break your virginity with him outside wedlock (Whether you have natural or secondary virginity, keep it till your wedding night). That will become your pride and honour in his home.
19 HOME SUPPORTS AND HOUSING
He must come from a home and have a house where he is living (built or rented apartment). He should enjoy home support from the parents and relations. They have to support his plans and move to get married. They should give him all-round support in order to encourage him achieves his obligation.
By the time he takes his lady to the village or town to introduce her to his parents and relations, they should receive her in love. If they fail to accept her, the lady should know that she is going to face problem but if they receive her, she will enjoy a sweet and successful marriage because of the home support.
20. TOLERANCE
Tolerance is the quality of tolerating opinions, beliefs, customs, behaviour different from one’s own.
He must be a man that can tolerate you at all time. Most ladies have bad attitude and are untidy. These may not manifest so much or be seen when they are still single, but as soon as they get married and start having children, they will begin to showcase their wrong and weak side. It will then take a man of tolerance and endurance to live with them and carry them along for change.
Not willing to tolerate and change has lead to many cases of divorce recorded in our society today. This calls for enduring and bearing one another in love. The Bible says, “Love beareth all things, ---endureth all thing” (1Cor. 18:7)
21. RESPECTFUL
He must be a man that has value and respect for women. He shouldn’t be the type that abuse and disrespect them. He shouldn’t be the type that joins others to castigate ladies.
There are some men that don’t see anything good in a woman. All they see is devils and demons in them. This is not good at all. God wonderfully and beautifully creates women “Beside every successful man there must be a woman”. No man is complete without a woman.
22. CARING
Caring goes with humility. A humble man cares a lot while a proud man does not care at all. He doesn’t want to know how you feel. He head and eyes are on high always, and he may hurt you any moment of the day.
Marriage requires a lot of caring. When a woman is undergoing her menstrual period, she may not be strong enough to do something’s in the house. She needs a caring husband to assist her during that period. When she is pregnant, she needs great care and assistance from her husband. When she put to bed, she needs a caring husband by her side. When she is sick or weak, she also needs someone beloved around her.
If she is a working class lady, she needs her man to care and support her in the house. He should not wait for her to return from work before some certain things will be done in the house. He many prepare their meal if they don’t have a house-helper. There is nothing wrong about that. He can also wash their clothes, sweep and wash dishes once in a while. That doesn’t make him a woman wrapper. It should be done out of love and willingness to build a God-fearing home. He should accept responsibility in the absence of the woman, and show good example of loving service.
HOW TO OVERCOME SEXUAL TEMPTATIONS FROM MEN DURING DATING & COURTSHIP.
What is dating and courtship? It is a westernized cultural activity. It is not mentioned once in the Bible, and is meant to be a time of fellowship, character development, and social development. Through dating and courtship their are something in your life that can be developed with the person of opposite sex. To have a dating and courtship void of sexual sins and immorality you must:
1. Avoid those times alone in a room or on the beach. You may prefer a double dating where other people will be present.

4. Avoid keeping lat nigh.
5. Don’t dress or undress in his presence.

Yes! Good to tell you who we are; it’s just me and you, let it not be I, myself and me for this. But you may not have understood who we really are. “Who are we?” Is a very nice question? It’s for you and me, neither does it matter who I might be.

Well, I never wanted to tell anyone why we meet. Oh my goody, um, I will only tell because, it’s your 28th question. And that is because I was born on the 28th of something. It doesn’t really matter why we meet, you will surely be right here with me!
We meet becase we like two words love and life. We waned to talk about them. Life is a service to humanity. What about love? A life to humanity. See us getting somewhere quick. Service to something and life to the same thing?

The word ‘how’ is always useful in chemistry. I am not talking about chemistry.com. Matchmaker!
